Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning again
Room was lovely and well serviced. Excellent water pressure in shower. Locker facilities for skis and boots was excellent.
A little more variety in what was offered at the dinner buffet from one night to the next would have been nice, but overall not very important.

Beautiful location right on the slopes.
We loved ski in ski out location of the resort. The ski rental and ski pass purchase is available right on site and the walk to the lift is a sheer 10 meters. Coming back, we took the green slope all the way to our hotel entrance. The lobby and bar is nice and cozy. The onsen was lovely, featuring an outdoor area nestled within the snow- quite unique.
The rooms are very retro in terms of design. The bathroom is an all-plastic fitting, very outdated and disappointing. There is not much around in walking distance and you rely on shuttle busses. To Niseko Village it is 1 stop (3min) and to town Hirafu Welcome Center it is 15 min.

Fantastic ski in, ski out resort. The chairlift is literally at the hotel entrance. Would highly recommend!
Breakfast buffet needed more optionality.

Good hotel for skiing and quiet life. Not good if you're interested in lively après-ski.
I enjoyed my stay at The Green Leaf. Reception staff especially Marla were very helpful and friendly. Ski rental, ski equipment locker, lift tickets and ski school are all housed in an annex attached to the hotel. The hotel is ski out and ski up to the ski locker area. Ski lifts and pistes were easily accessible. The room was a decent size for a Japanese hotel. My room had a great view of Mount Yotei. Ski instructors at the Niseko Village were very good. Niseko Village pistes did not seem as busy as adjoining resorts like Hirafu.
There was only a buffet available in the hotel for dinner, which was expensive. An Al-carte option would be more popular with guests for dinner. It's possible to go to Niseko-Yo which is is accessible by gondola-lift in about 15 minutes and has a few places to eat and drink. There should be more coffee machines provided at breakfast, the restaurant gets very busy for the breakfast buffet and the wait at the coffee machines can get very long. There should be more electrical sockets provided with USB charging points and maybe universal electrical sockets. There were 2 sockets at the bedside and another 2 by the TV small desk. All of these sockets were flat 2-pin American style sockets with no USB charging sockets. I think this is a problem with a lot of Japanese hotels.
